How affiliate marketing took me from an unhappy employee lacking direction to a successful online business owner who has the freedom to travel more, with a new outlook on life and a fire in my belly.
Hey, I’m Matt, an adventurer, travel lover and family man from Cambridge in the UK. This is my son, daughter, and I, watching a breathtaking sunset in Italy, one of my favourite places to visit. It's amazing how quickly life can change. Not long ago, I would lay in bed on Sunday evenings, already dreading the upcoming work week. Another draining week in the same mundane routine, with a boss constantly demanding more while giving less in return. I was working in construction in a supervisor role, earning good money but working a lot of hours for that money. Over time, I felt increasingly disconnected, struggling to find meaning in my daily grind. The long hours I was working and chasing the money, kept me from what mattered most—time with family and pursuing my passions.
My career never really excited me, but it was paying the bills! But there's more to life than that, and I felt a bit like a dream was dying inside of me, and I realised that I was becoming a bystander in my own life. I craved something different, something exciting.
My bucket list kept growing, but work left me with little time to check off those dreams. I didn’t want to wait until retirement in the hope I had enough money and energy to do all the things I dreamed of doing.
Supporting my parents in their retirement was also a driving force. Just as they supported me, I wanted to give back.
Determined to create a new outcome, I was willing to give it my all to escape the rat race and break free from the daily grind. I wanted a life of purpose and fulfilment, and I dreamed of earning an income that would provide the lifestyle I desired.
I asked myself "Am I willing to trade the next 15-20 years of my life still living the same way?" The answer was no.
Then I asked myself "Am I willing to sacrifice a couple of hours each evening and the price of a daily cup of take-out coffee to learn a skill that can change my life?" Of course I was, I see it as an investment in myself.
It hasn’t been without its challenges, pushing me beyond my comfort zone at times, but it's been the most rewarding journey in my income and personal growth.
My only regret is that I didn't start sooner!

Instead, when you sell a product, you purchase the item from a third party—usually a wholesaler or manufacturer—and have it shipped directly to the customer.
